This collectable milk jug / creamer was made in England by the prestigious Wedgwood brand that was founded by Josiah Wedgwood in the 1700s, to whom the 'Potter to Her Majesty' title was granted. His tea ware has supplied tea ware to the royal households since the time of Queen Charlotte, as well as many other and many other illustrious Heads of State, such as in the Vatican, and the White House. This particular antique jug is made from stone jasperware, which is a type of pottery first developed by Josiah Wedgwood himself in the 1770s. It is black with a stunning Neoclassical design in white. (Please note that this product does not include the teapot. This is sold separately. See the teapot's listing here.)
